Founder & Owner

Mari Thomas is the Founder and Owner of Beyond Appearance and has been a trusted leader in the aesthetics industry for more than 45 years. Renowned throughout the Dallas area for her exceptional care, unwavering integrity, and commitment to excellence, Mari has built a legacy that extends far beyond skincare.After beginning her career as an esthetician at Neiman Marcus, Mari followed her dream of opening her own practice. She founded Mari’s Skin Care, which quickly became one of Dallas’ most respected skincare destinations and was recognized as “Best in Dallas” by D Magazine. As her vision continued to grow, the practice evolved into Beyond Appearance, a reflection of her belief that true beauty is about far more than what we see on the surface.

Throughout her career, Mari has mentored generations of estheticians, sharing not only her clinical expertise but also the values of compassion, integrity, and genuine hospitality that define Beyond Appearance today. Her greatest passion is creating an environment where every client feels seen, valued, and cared for, while inspiring her team to pursue excellence in every interaction.

Mojca Jackson

Mojca Jackson

Master Aesthetician

Mojca brings more than 30 years of experience in skincare and wellness to Beyond Appearance. Originally from Slovenia, she graduated from cosmetology school in 1984 before beginning her career in luxury spas and resorts throughout Europe. In 1997, she brought her passion and healing touch to the United States, where she joined Beyond Appearance and was mentored by founder Mari Thomas, further expanding her expertise in advanced skincare and Guinot treatments.

Mojca continues to attend advanced educational seminars each year to stay current with the latest innovations and technologies in aesthetics. She specializes in customized facials, HydraFacial®, SkinPen®, chemical peels, Guinot treatments, Circadia, ProCell Microchanneling, facial massage, diamond microdermabrasion, lash lifts and tints, brow tinting, airbrush spray tanning, and full-body waxing.

Known for her calming presence, exceptional technique, and genuine compassion, Mojca has built lasting relationships with clients through decades of personalized care. She believes skincare is about nurturing both the skin and the person behind it, approaching every treatment with intention and helping each client feel relaxed, cared for, and confident. Her personal philosophy is, “You are whole, and you are perfect just as you were created.”

Lili Lukose

Aesthetician

Lili is a licensed medical aesthetician with a passion for helping clients feel confident and beautiful in their skin. With a background in aesthetics education and extensive hands-on experience, she brings both knowledge and a personalized approach to every treatment. She graduated Dallas Skin Institute and later taught the esthetics program for 6+ years and was Director of Education and Operations.

Trained in advanced skincare techniques and professional lines including Guinot and Circadia, Lili specializes in customized facials, HydraFacial, microneedling, microchanneling, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, and lash and brow services. Her goal is to create a welcoming experience where every client feels cared for while working toward healthy, beautiful skin.

Ana Verdin is the Lead Aesthetician at Beyond Appearance, bringing years of experience and a genuine passion for helping clients look and feel their best. Originally from Iowa, she discovered her love for aesthetics through her desire to build confidence in others and create meaningful, results-driven experiences.

Ana believes every treatment should be thoughtfully customized to each client’s unique skin concerns and goals, combining clinical expertise with a warm, personalized approach.

Ana specializes in customized facials, HydraFacial®, SkinPen®, chemical peels, Guinot treatments, Circadia, Face Reality, ProCell Microchanneling, diamond microdermabrasion, lash lifts and tints, brow tinting and laminations, and lash extensions. Whether helping clients address acne, signs of aging, or simply enjoy a relaxing escape, Ana is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and helping every client achieve healthy, radiant skin.

Rachel graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a degree in Psychology and Business Management before earning her Esthetician License from Dallas Skin Institute. As CEO of Beyond Appearance, she leads the company’s daily operations, business strategy, client experience, marketing, and brand development while continuing to care for clients in the treatment room.

With a passion for aesthetics, skin health, and hospitality, Rachel believes exceptional skincare extends far beyond results alone. it is about creating an experience that makes every client feel genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive. Her vision has helped shape Beyond Appearance into a trusted destination known for personalized care, integrity, and meaningful relationships.
